Riding the wave of her party’s national success Trinity-Spadina MP Olivia Chow held onto her seat for the NDP.

While there had been some question as to whether she could win given the changing demographics of her constituency she managed to poll 55.9 percent of the vote as of 10:30 p.m while Liberal Christine Innes is a distant second with 22.5 percent.

Conservative candidate Gin Siow is polling third with 16.4 percent of the vote.
