About Our Neighbourhood
At Yonge Street and Finch Avenue, north of Finch and extending to out to the western branches of the Don River is the community of Newtonbrook. The area is the northernmost part of the City of Toronto and was the birthplace of former Prime Minister and Nobel Laureate Lester B. Pearson.

The area around Yonge and Finch is characterized by the presence of several high-rise apartment buildings and condominiums which house many young families, young professionals, and a great many visiting students. (more)
