Town Crier launches new crime blog

Crime Blog.jpg
This week, the Town Crier launched its new crime blog, in order to keep you up to date on the crimes that affect your neighbourhood and greater community.

In an effort to remain local, the Town Crier Crime Wordpress blog will cover everything from murders and sexual assaults to street robberies and break and enters.

The site contains:

• A briefs page, with quick news hits on crimes in your community
• A features page, with the longer news stories and community reaction to major crimes
• Our daily roundups section, which gives a neighbourhood-by-neighbourhood breakdown of daily crimes as reported to police.

In case you’re unsure if we’re in your neighbourhood, you can check the Neighbourhoods page, which lists each neighbourhood we cover, and categorized by print publication.

The main Town Crier website, and our sister publication Toronto Today’s website, will still publish some of the local crime stories, but the blog will have up-to-date information and feature our blog’s briefs and roundups.

You can also follow our Twitter accounts: @MyTownCrier, @TownCrierCrime and @MyTorontoToday.

Don’t forget, if you witnessed or were affected by crime in your neighbourhood, don’t hesitate to call us 416-785-4311 ext. 290 and let the Town Crier tell your story.
